About Elizabeth

Passion

Life coaching is more than a job; it is her passion. She has proven over and over that leading an extraordinary life is possible for everyone. And nothing pleases her more than helping clients find this out for themselves.

Expertise

Elizabeth Hechtman delivers high-impact, results-oriented coaching to individuals and teams. She works with executives, managers, entrepreneurs, and creative professionals in business, non-profit and government organizations. Her specialties include leadership; positive psychology; group dynamics; emotional and social intelligence; risk assessment and management; and financial stability and growth.

Elizabeth holds a master’s of science degree in Group Process from Hahnemann-Drexel University. She trained with the prestigious Coaches Training Institute (CTI), the first organization accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). She is both a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through CTI and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the ICF. Elizabeth believes in life-long learning. To this end she takes classes, studies and reads the most up to date thinking in the field.

New Possibilities

Elizabeth worked with clients and trained professionals for 20 years as the founder of a private psychotherapy center. But she became deeply discouraged with the privacy issues and treatment restrictions that came along with managed care. She did what she hopes everyone will do when they need a new perspective. She hired a coach. Within a month or two, she realized the questions her coach asked opened her eyes to new possibilities. Believing so strongly in the process, she decided to become a life coach.

Today, Elizabeth’s clients benefit from her diverse professional background, which also includes owning a fine jewelry wholesale manufacturing company, running a French pastry catering service, and teaching college-level reading and writing.

Living Leadership

Elizabeth lives with her partner of 13 years and their dogs in an 1870 farmhouse. She delights in striving to approach every moment of her life as a leader, whether negotiating professional situations, responding to a difficult conversation, or volunteering her time. She loves to knit, garden, cook, read, and write.

A note from Elizabeth:

Elizabeth c. Hechtman, life leadership coach (photo)

Coaching is a relationship between you and I for the purpose of supporting you in becoming the best you can be. It’s important you feel we “click” so I don’t scrimp on time when you call for an initial conversation. I want to learn what you’re up to.

I love these calls so fill out my contact form or just call me directly. Remember sometimes technology fails – if you haven’t heard from me in 24 hours persist and try again.

Thank you so much for taking the time to consider me as your life leadership coach. I’d love the opportunity to work with you. If for any reason I’m not the one for you, I urge you to continue your search. I truly believe life leadership coaching benefits everyone.

Warmly,
Elizabeth

On Leadership…
“In my practice as a leader, and as I have studied and watched others lead, I have seen that mentoring relationships offer a phenomenal opportunity to support and be supported, to offer shelter and take risks.”
